What we collect
When you ask for a quote, we get your name, phone number, vehicle, the service you chose and anything else you add. We use it to call you back about your car and to keep a record of your request. We don't sell it and we don't share it for marketing.
Requests are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and emailed to our shop inbox. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you're a person and not a bot.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a site. We use three kinds:
- Necessary
- gpdr_consent remembers your cookie choice for 6 months. gpdr_geo holds the country and region Cloudflare sees for your visit, for one day, so the site knows whether to ask before using other cookies. Turnstile may use its own to tell people from bots. These are always on.
- Analytics
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, counts visits and pages, and when someone sends the quote form, calls, emails, leaves a review or opens directions. It uses the _ga cookies. We keep this data for 14 months.
- Marketing
- Cookies to measure and improve ads. We don't run ads today; if we add ad tags, they only run with marketing consent.
Your choices
In the EU and EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec, we ask first: only necessary cookies run until you choose. Everywhere else, analytics and marketing are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a no to marketing. Your choice is kept for 6 months; after that, or if we change what we use, we ask again where we need to.
Analytics through our own address
Google's tag loads through galaxypdr.com/metrics, which passes the requests on to Google. It means ad blockers are less likely to break our visit counts. It doesn't change what is collected, and it follows your cookie choices exactly the same way.
